Back in the early 90's I once picked up an old 1974 Dodge Dart 4 dr. Burnt Orange metalic (my favorite color) white vinyle top. For a winter car.
My Wife always refered to it as "The Old Mans" car. I was just planning on driving it during that winter, but it turned out, I really enjoyed it because it was sort of a "sleeper" because it had a 318 V8. Not that those were fast or anything, but most people figured it had a six. Anyway I wound up keeping it for about 2 years, then selling it for just what I paid for it.
Personally, if I have to get a 4dr. I'd much rather have a sporty wagon than a 4 dr. sedan.
At least if push comes to shove, you can "camp out" in a wagon in an emergency, and with the right person, that can be a lot of fun.
Mike, we both thought of you the first time we drove it and could see the scoop over the hood, no lie. Molly has REALLY warmed to the new car, she has even temporarily relinquished her garage spot since it was so clean after the detail. I think it is perfect for us, and as you said, I am hoping to sell it for what I bought it for within a year or two.

The interior is a cool black/white two tone, the white is hard to keep clean, but looks very nice when it is. I thought about doing rims, but I like the OEM ones too, I think with a 2.5-3 inch drop and powdercoating the wheels graphite, it will look badass.
Not to mention the fact that with an up pipe, downpipe, intake and tune (about $1,000) I will be north of 320HP
Even now, the performance is on par with a XF, but the AWD and turbo is hard to get used to, no hanging out the back end at every turn LOL
