Default 05 crossfire convertible stall no start

Since moving my crossfire to houston texas,I started having stall-no start (no cranking) problems intermittently. When it stalls it's while driving down the road and it justquits running. luckily(?) my wife was driving and could pull off the road without incident. Iput a new battery in itand it worked fine all day. Next am I got in and turned the ignition on, got all the dash lights normal, but when I turned the key - nothing happened. Like the clutch wasn't depressed. Disconnected the CPS -crank position sensor- and the next day it turned over. Reconnected the CPS and it started and ran fine all day. Could this be a bad CPS too?
