I will say though, that nobody seems to have found a perfect fit with a perfect sound to replace the originals. Everyone seems to have had to modify the bracket, compromised on # of coils, compromise on RMS specs, or comrpomise on bass clarity with the free air design of the space behind the seats...

In the end, Im likely to either buy another OEM sub to replace my blown one or have mine repaired if thats even possible... pretty bummed either way.
I think the OP is stating that he has subs that fit under the seat now and he is looking for a regular speaker that will fit into the holes where the OEM subs are currently mounted.

If that is the case, it looks like most 6-1/2" to 6-3/4" round speakers will fit (referencing the size), just make sure you get the correct OHM rating for the factory system. I've always had good luck going to Crutchfield and entering my car info to see "what fits" without any modification. There are several speakers listed for "behind the seat" installation. You might give them a look.
