The answer here is sort of. A lot of manufacturers use the same resistance values in their senders, often just using a commonly available off the shelf sender, but sometimes they reinvent the wheel and make/source/build their own with a specific value range.
You might ask the supplier you got the original kit from if they have the specs on the sender. If they do and will give them to you then a good auto parts store can help you locate a suitable replacement.
If you don't want to spend that kinda time then a whole kit might be your best bet. They may even sell you just a sender. Never hurts to ask.
