Alaxfire the long and short of it is I was going to the CAA #3 in Reno anyway so decided rather than having Frank ship me the CF hood I would drive out and get it. I removed my stock hood for the drive out and it seems that some of the down force from the hood keeps the plastic grill in place because as I found out the grill will launch itself quite well at 85 mph or so after a slight bump in the road. My wife thought it was all just an excuse to get a new billet grill. So if you want to justify a new grill....... drive 1,305 miles and run around 80-85 mph the whole way with the hood off and you will qualify for a new grill I assume (from experience). Actually I was quite happy with the stock 1 but kinda like this 1 as well.
