No, but there is talk of a turbo diesel engine of less than 1.5 liters from Fiat coupled with an electric motor/generator at all wheels, that and the variable transmission coupled to pedals for the two passengers should guarantee great mileage. Top speed is rumored to be above 100mph and the best 0 to 60mph time is said to be about 19 seconds with a 10mph tail wind. Gas mileage is expected to be in the 80mpg range using bio diesel, batteries and pedal power. A range of 60 miles is expected using the 1,000 AAA batteries alone as long as it is downhill with the same 10mph tail wind. Pedal power alone depends on the passengers fitness and no guarantees are forthcoming from the maker on that. Needless to say using pedal power there are zero emissions and even the sweat is saved for windshield washer fluid. It should hit the showroom on April 1st next year.
