I just changed mine out 2 months ago at 150K. The clutch had a couple of hot spots (not too bad)but the throw bearing was pretty much shot. You can hear it when the clutch is released and it sounds like noisy valves. If you press down on the clutch about an inch and the sound goes away, it tells you that you throw out bearing is going bad. There was an oil leak that found its way onto the flywheel which made it slip a little. Once the new cluch and throw bearing was installed and the oil leak was fixed the car had a nice grab to it when you shift at high RPMs....wahoo!
