Default oil catch can & crank case vents

I installed Rob's catch can, really impressed BTW, and was thinking about the large hose that isn't deleted in the catch can design since it isn't the main culpret. It is the one that goes up to the driver side intake. I also took the crank case covers off and re sealed them since they were leaking. I added a universal crank case breather and ran it down the back of the motor terminating just above the transmission bell housing. I did this because I was affraid of water going in and less affraid of oil dripping out. Let me know if any of you guys think this will be a problem. Then I put a cap on a reducer nipple for the air intake.
