Yes - the highest number of UK SRTs recorded was 118 in 2009 Q1 (111 taxed, 7 on SORN), and I think it's generally accepted that it's roughly a 1/3 - 2/3 split in favour of coupes so they're all rare but roadsters more so.
For what it's worth, my advice to anyone who
really wants one (either version), unless it's an obvious rip-off for a total shed, would be to ask yourself, if you walk away, will you kick yourself tomorrow?
Obviously keep your brain in gear and eyes wide open - it's still only a car - but don't live to regret it. He who hesitates...!
