Does anyone know the range on the dipstick? If that set range "area" is one quart, like the manual says, then I have only used about 1/5 of a quart.

After the oil chage the level was exactly at the top of that range "area" on the stick and it is around 1/5 of the way down from the top of that range "area" now.
