I had a drunk passenger in my car who pushed my mirror adjustment **** down through the console

I lifted up the silver plastic top piece off the console and it looks like it may be an easy glue job to reaffix the ****.

Has anyone dealt with a situation like this? Any recommendations are appreciated.
