I honestly feel the price they have quoted is not going to allow for much if any profit. What was the initial price of a Eurocharge tune? Much less having to totally remap and rewrite code. Anybody supplying a flash for Turbo mod is going to command a premium. So basically a fleabay turbo kit is what 1500 to 2K..now throw in another grand in tuning..not much left over.
Guess I would drag my heels on a break even project myself.
This is a very likely problem, and honestly I think it's what shot Speedriven in the head. They made more money by refunding the deposits and telling us to sod off.
Hopefully that isn't the case here, because it would be a hard sell to ask for an additional $1,000 from everyone at this point.
