you squeeze the tabs and slide the tube in until it locks in place.
something we did on grips car to get more room without trimming the y pipe is to switch the t/b rubber plate on the xfire to the flat gasket that the slk32 has. gives you the thickness of the plate closer to the s/c and away from the firewall
