They're a bit noisier because it's a non insulated top, but that's about it. Mine is a weekend toy so I had to have an open car and a manual gearbox, and I've never regretted having either. With the Magnaflow exhaust on the car the sound is just fantastic with the top down, especially under broad overpasses or in tunnels.
