Re: STS turbo **update**
Sorry about having not responded in so long... I will post better and bigger pictures soon - the project is still in the works - and running close to 20k at this point... There are so many problems with putting a turbo in this car... Customizing the piping, working with the software, creating room for the manifold... building up the engine (i.e. forged parts, etc), and then of course the POS stock clutch issue... I really can't believe it - hopefully this will be finished soon - the car has just been picked up by three sponsors so we'll see how this goes... Shouldn't be much longer now till completion.
Also, I just wanted to mention... I was speaking to one of my sponsors and they work with quite a few different aftermarket companies and were telling me that they've been getting alot of calls on the Crossfire and have been repeatedly checking into the availability of items for this car... From what they were saying in about three to four months the aftermarket on the Crossfire is set to blow up - body kits, drop kits, exhaust, turbo kits, supercharger kits, you name it - it's all set to come - it's just been a matter of testing and tuning... So that's the word I've gotten and from what I can tell it's quite reputable... I've been toying around with several groups about the idea of designing a custom carbon fiber body kit for this car (the first one, aside from the hideous Zestline body kit - Mopar and Skunkwerks also produced ONE which never went up for public sale - and I don't really consider Startechs light touches to be a body kit) but... About the time I actually have my turbo finished (the entire point being for it to be the FIRST turbo Crossfire) and body kit - there will be a bunch of aftermarket body kits and turbo kits costing a fraction of what I'm paying... So hmmm...
