Might be better to go visit the service department. These type of questions tie up phones and people and sometimes they are 'busy'. If you give em 'face time' you can better gauge if they want to help or not. It takes a while to see what alternator is in what car. Having the VIN and asking them 'how much is the replacement OEM alternator' or is there a 'repair kit available for a DIY' for your alternator will give you part numbers or kit numbers that would help you fix it. During giving/taking information you can ask who made it. Thats what I do and I rarely buy from them and always get the info I need.
Good luck on finding any bearing info though, I've never heard of anyone replace a bearing in an alternator. Sourcing it may be a huge problem. Removing/replacing it may be harder. Good luck!
