I've downloaded the manual suggested and will spend some time on it this week in prep for my knuckle busting next weekend. I think my plan will be to get access to the SKREEM, disconnect and remove its battery (if possible and replace, anyone know), reconnect, and try the 3 hour key in the on position "reprogramming" I referenced earlier.
