Oil Flush and tomorrow + level sensor + condition of oil pump?...
I'm doing a lubrimol flush 2morrow and dropping the sump.
Some may recall I have had some sludge issues.
It's been 1000km on the first batch of 0-40Mob1.
I'm going to;
Flush
vac extract out the 1000km oil and refill with a cheap no name full synthetic
run for 5minutes to warm it up and then add the lubrimol
run for 10mins
vac extract and dump the lot
refill with the 1000km oil as a cleanout
run for 5mins
vac extract and dump the lot
Sump Out
drop the sump
clean up old sealant
clean what items inside I can
Replace the oil level sensor
Check our Oil Pump????
Reseal with MB sealant
Refill with fresh 0-40WMob1
Renew Oil Filter
Seal up and run until oil goes off colour...
change for the "final" time.
for ?????
Not sure how to check the oil pump performance -
Q1- is there an oil prs sensor I can pickup from the ECU with Carsoft7.4 or other means?
Q2 - Or do I need to (has someone) fit a prs gauge somewhere?
Q3 - What prs should I be expecting?
Q4 - Has anyone upgraded their oil pump to align with higher power/temps/pulleys?
