Default Re: BEGi Turbo Kit information/discussion thread

Trying to produce a viable kit for $3600 is a huge challenge, and undoubtedly part of the reasons behind the delays. Back when I was designing and manufacturing systems for Hemi vehicles, I spent countless hours trying to develop a routing for the crossfire. I pretty much came to the conclusion that the best route was going to be an underhood system. While it might not be as easy as a bolt on underchassis system, there were just to many routing issues and clearance problems. I still feel an underhood layout can be achieved. If things do not progress in this area, I should have time to come up with or at least get started on a tubing set this winter. But, I know it would involve pulling stock manifolds and modifying them to remove factory flanges and then weld on new flanges to bolt the system to. Just a thougth if nothing pans out with this effort for you guys. Would be fairly easy as I will just cut off a front chassis section and stick it in the corner to use as a mock up.
