Talking Re: I am looking for an argument

Mrmiata Thanks for the find, I see that but in my example it is a hybrid as the cool water is the same temp across the length of the H/E and unlike a counter flow design the working fluid is going to accept or pick up heat based upon the difference in temp, I am seeking the greatest temp difference across the length of the IC.

THis will be tested on my car.

rcompart: My good friend, the air analogy is not correct in that the nature of the air is the it is compressible and able to be rarefied. The returns in an air system are designed for about 800 FPM velocity to keep the noise down and prevent cavitation which will generate a low frequency surging or low frequency "whistle" . You can allow the supply side to be about 1000FPM without issue as the blower can compress the air and overcome the frictional losses in the duct work. Water is incompressable and will move depending on frictional losses and pressure applied.

#2 I feel that the IC restriction was 9 times higher in a series mode versus the parallel mode. I intend to test this with a flow meter as I did in the supercooler videos, to confirm this. Remember the the supercooler allowed up to 3-4 GPM versus the stock he which was about 1+ GPM. This can work , but you know me, Ill test it so you can decide on the factual results.

#3. Honest not picking on your reply, but we have better pumps, and the supercooler has like 4x the capacity and much much lower restriction, Ill test it and post it - you betcha.

I will keep the flow up and agree with you fully on the turbulence scrubbing factor. To boost the delta T, I hope to use the greatest flow ( seee above) and allow the greatest delta T across the I/C. I have to draw up a sketch to allow others to understand what I see with such clarity in my own mind.

Iam loving this a bunch, yippie and I am either 100% right or wrong, lets see if I still GOT IT. Been wrong before but then there have been a few successes, check out the items on our cars so far. Thanks for the watching and comments, Woody
