RickB, So you're saying it's the "process" that they use to create the "tempered" aspect of the glass that causes the patterns?... That makes sense.
I never really gave this much thought, because I've noticed these "patterns" in the glass on all cars for years and it just didn't bother me that much. (as long as the pattern was uniform)
Firebase, I really can't say that I've noticed it on any car as they drove down the street though. Usually it's always at car shows where everybody has their cars "spit shined" to perfection.
My opinion, don't worry about the onlookers, they're going to be too "dazzled" by the cars natural good looks, and how great you look driving it (even though you're not 19 anymore) that they will never notice the "glass pattern". If you're still concerned, roll down the windows.
