THX, Will do all that you suggest. Car has 35K .. boughtit at 32K. Read some (thx teachers of the world) about keys. Only have one set ... wondering if ordering a new one with new programming in the future might be a legitimate chase down the path of troubleshooting. The "magic chip" not working properly seems plausable for lights, camera but "no action". Any thoughts? Oh, and the one key I do have has seen some physical (and recently verbal) abuse. Thanks again for any feedback. My trusty neighborhood mechanic has given me the shoulder shrug --- never a good sign.
