thanks, that is a good idea, I was contemplating wiring the pump to be on all the time the ignition was on as a last resort but no harm in doing it until I finally find the correct fix, sometimes the obvious escapes me entirely.

So will run the pump full time for now, and I much appreciate your help looking on Star when you get chance to do so, regards, Chris
