Don't get too hung up on mileage and be prepared to travel to get a good one.
Must admit the one you are going to look at is about £500 or so over the mark, but haggle,if it were me, straight in with me size 10's and offer 2500!!! you never know could get yourself a bargain
It says it has FSH so yes i'll be checking that. You sound like my dad mate! I'll bear in mind what you've said and I know its been at that dealership for at least 6 weeks so if the car looks ok i'll see what they'll take.

Yes I agree with Mo, these engines are bullit proof if well maintained and must admit Im a bit too fussy about mileage. But Id also listen for rattling from the cats when you start it up and look at brake disks and of course tyres! Having to replace tyres can kill what you thought was a good deal. Its supposed to have 4 new tyres (albeit budget "Accelera"). So you reckon I should offer £3k for it if its tidy?

Thats the thing, i;ve seen ones in London on Gumtree cheaper but they look doggy.
