When I connect it back the the wiring harness POW! it pops the fuse. The antitheift is not working either. Dealer wants $ 2,400.00 to replace the BCM! Any thoughts?
I'd have a look at the switch. Automotive switches are made like crap.
Start at the cheap end of the fix and work your way toward the BCM. Then start at the motor and work back to the BCM. There's probably a short somewhere.
