dbondz....don't take this wrong my friend, but there isn't anyway we can help you without knowing all this guy did. Did he pull the engine completely out, or just high enough to work on the oil pan? The other thing is, he IS a mechanic, right, not just a buddy who helped you out? Any competent mechanic would know what was wrong. It shouldn't be running rough, and a pan replacement only wouldn't have screwed the timing. But impact onto something, might have broken or damaged electronics somewhere else on the car... So, retrace everything from ground wires to the frame, the starter, as well as all the fuses. Look around the box containing the PCM, RCM....make sure something isn't unpluged, cracked shorting out etc.... Make sure vacuum hoses weren't knocked off, or not put back on...time to start looking at everything...
