My point was that we have people buying smaller batteries and CF hoods to save weight but they forget to stand on the scales and see some extra weight they drag around all the time.

This post has not elicited any concrete weight savings beyond that which is obvious, mine still stands as the most obvious weight savings and coupled with a fitness scheme it would be of great benefit to racers.

Except for my tongue in cheek posts and replies to some posts, I try to make my posts informative. In fact your post on MBC's had only one useful reply, mine. If you had asked for part numbers in it I would have supplied them.
