I don't think the owner's manual is available anywhere in PDF. Look at page 8Q-47 of the service manual. It explains the operation of the alarm. It doesn't have a shock sensor, so it won't go off if someone hits your car or knocks a window out. It goes off if the doors, trunk, hood, or glove box are opened in addition to the towing sensor. It also has an alarm if the ignition or radio are tampered with. I also found out that the alarm will go off when you jump a dead battery. It has a loud siren instead of just honking the horn like most OEM alarms. If you want to hear what it sound like, lock the car from inside with the FOB and then open the door after waiting a bit. That should set off the alarm.
