Yes I have abandoned the self-contained oil system for now. The oil heats up and foams, then needs time to settle, that would mean too big of a tank.
I looked at the Needswings cold air intake and thought it would be perfect. A month ago I asked if anyone had one for sale,cheap. I'll have my fabricator reproduce something similar. I agree on the oval shaped pipe and size. I am thinking of running the charge pipe from the intercooler in front of the radiator on the drivers side to the passengers side, then in through the inlet.
