Re: CROSSFFIRE became a SUV/ATV in NYsnow!!!
Back in 2004, around Christmas, a snowstorm came through Ohio dumping over a foot of snow on the ground. During the tail end of that storm, I was forced to drive my Crossfire home from Dayton to Cincinnati - about 50 miles on Interstate 75.
The trip home was a real white-knuckle affair - cars off the road everywhere, blinding snow, the whole deal. The trip took 2 hours, but the Crossfire made it when a lot of other cars didn't. The stock Continentals, traction control, and stability control did their jobs exactly the way they were designed to do.
I don't think it's something I ever want to do again, but the car exceeded my expectations in a real ugly situation. Don't underestimate the Crossfire's bad weather driving ability. It'll get you home when a lot of other cars won't.
