Yeah, same here. Our exchanges caused me to lose interest in the forum. I made some statements that were fairly obvious when he was looking to purchase a Crossfire (ie; a LTD. will never be an SRT-6, why don't you investigate that rabbit hole thoroughly). Ultimately, what he ended up with was a pristine, personalized look LTD that couldn't keep up with me on a freeway onramp. In either of my 6's. A small number of lemmings chimed in with him criticizing Pilot Sports, which are great tires and small change for me. Then they criticized my profession-education (and that of my late wife, who succumbed to cancer a year later at 42. She loved the 6's more than me.) I'm not going to name drop anymore. You know who you are. Since that incident a couple of years ago, I still have my low mileage 6's. They are still pleasure drivers and garage queens. I just lost my respect for a few people on here and my desire to post much. What's always kept me stoked is the far greater amount of good people on this board who really want to help out and love their cars. Even without mods.
