Fellow Crossfire enthusiasts,
Below is a portion of the route I will be taking from OK to my new base in SC. As you can see, I'm taking a bit of a detour to go experience the majesty of the Appalachians that I've read so much about on this forum.
In addition to my fully loaded cargo bay, I'll be packing a spare RCM, CPS + tools, tire pressure gauge, extra quart of oil, coolant, tire patching kit, smart phone and plenty of road snacks
This is my first time driving the Appalachians, and I welcome any advice! I'd like to hit up the Blue Ridge Parkway and as many scenic views as possible, while limiting my time on mind-numbing interstates. Locals, any word on the weather through the mountains this time of year?
