Yes I know the SC is not kicking on mainly because I don't hear the whirl noise, the car is quick without it. It's kinda like being catapulted off an aircraft carrier when it kicks in.

Having had the pump fail on mine, i would certainly not describe the car as 'quick without it', in fact it felt like the car was starting out in top gear, and certainly not as quick as a NA would be. The supercharger whine is VERY subdued with the stock intake. I cannot hear it on my vert (stock with K & N filters) ...........compared to the needswings on the coupe. If you have a stock intake, maybe it is working and you just can't hear it ............only way to tell for sure is to wire an LED like Woody did .............
