Of course Dan that's true, but to most Americans, the word "Kompressor", is a misspelled air pump. Besides, the size of the lettering on the SLKs kompressor emblem is GIGANTIC. I think the Riviera's Supercharged emblem is much more tasteful, and discreet. Placed low on the front fender, (just beneath the side vent) the only people that would actually see it is the person who pulls up next to you at the light. And truth be told, "intimidation" is the name of the game more often than not.
Besides, German logo's on a Chrysler (no matter what the actual German content is) really causes more confusion than it's worth, IMO. After all, Porsche was instrumental in the design and development of Harley Davidsons new V-Rod engine, but I have yet to see any with a Porsche insignia.
