Yes exactly, I actually read that thread a few days prior to getting my HIDs in the mail , the passenger side goes up to a certain point but no higher , It's dropped before and since then it won't go past a certain point
The only difference between my problem and the op is that "pop" sound , I never heard it or any noise for that matter
