Enlarging the bores by .318" would give you 3.8 liters, and with new cylinder liners, pistons and rings. Modify the head a little to match diameters.
OEM is 89,9 dia. x 84,0mm stroke x 6 = 3.199 liters.

How hard can it be?
Super Mario can do this for sure.
