I guess you can re-stroke (so to speak) unless there is too much already modified internally requiring a replacement plus associated. In other words can OUR E32 be re-stroked successfully, or will another version have to be dropped in? Also reading the wiki page, I remember quite a while ago folks debating how different the N/A vs the SRT blocks (lower end) were different, was that ever resolved or are the the same blocks with just slightly differently heads and of course the intake manifold/supercharger?

The block on the 32 is completely different, as well as everything inside. The heads are the same, cams are different, rocker arms are different, as well as valve springs. Valves are the same (surprisingly).... Any motor can be bored or stroked, its just a matter of money, how much bore and/or stroke, and how much your shop is willing to do. The 3.7 has been done though, the pistons he used are from the 55 amg motor which are way too much money for which is why I decided not to go that route. Like previously said, a ton was custom after that, its not an easy or cheap solution.
