I very rarely hear unreliable, but hear expensive quite a bit.
They are great motors and can last forever, but when a fix is needed, sometimes so is some vaseline LOL
I hear expensive alot too, but people I know around my age in the hondas and such always talk crap about reliability in German engineering lol.
