Its not a hard mod I did it to a few of my 4 headlight 9005/06 vehicles in the past. Good thing the XF has H7, they are the same except for being 180 out of round! Look closely enough and you'll also see the tabs of each (that lock into the base) are slightly different but they have enough 'wiggle' to them to slip em in.
