Just a thought, but why not pay the extra three percent charge for protection? Paypal is most-often on the buyer's side (even when they shouldn't be). Getting the funds back would likely have been easier and you'd have better legal recourse if you chose to persue. Of course hindsight is 20/20 as they say.
