Hello everyone:

I just installed a new head unit, the Alpine CDE-HD137BT. I wanted more volume and better sound. To my surprise the new unit plays lower in volume than the main unit. Also, the various treble and bass settings do not seem to register. i.e. the unit is not very responsive.

I used the preamps with the kit supplied by crutch field. I am so disappointed. Can some one tell me what is going on here. If not, I will have to send this unit back and reinstall the stock unit. As I was doing better with that unit
