Default Re: Straight up lowering advice needed!!!

Everyone has a different experience and comfort level with what they end up with.

I picked up,
eibachs
Konis
Spring pads
Front camber bolts
Rear camber arms

And did the install myself.

I ended up with -1.6 and -2 camber up front and was in spec in the rear.

I had camber / sway bar contact and added
thicker rear spring pads
Adj sway links

I ate through a set of new front hankooks in a year because of camber

Added front kmac kit
bigger front spring pads
new front tires

Still have some sway/camber arm contact

Added poly sway bushings

Have squeaky *** noises back there on every little road pimple, still working on that.

Some would live with eating front tires, some can get in spec with the front bolts. Some have no contact in the rear others grind the body seam. At the end of the day you could be lucky and everything goes smooth or you could be still trying to get everything perfect 2 years and 2+ grand later. All depends on the type of person you are, what you can live with and how many times you feel like removing and adjusting things to get them right.

Not trying to discourage or anything I couldn't live with highjacker stock look and wouldn't take back anything I have done, just letting you know my experience.
