I had the privilege of smoking the
Flor de las Antillas Double Toro. The Toro just won cigar of the year, and when I went in the local smoke shop and saw a box laying there, I had to take a draw.
This puppy did not disappoint. I detected notes of nutmeg, toast, and some vanilla undertones. I had two people walk by and ask what I was smoking simply from the rich smell. Construction was superb, the draw was VERY free (I love that) and the flavors all mellowed together perfectly. I literally didn't want to retire the cigar, smoked it to my knuckles. Without a doubt, box-worthy. Retail was $9.95. I honestly liked it just as much as the Melanio.

While this certainly pales in comparison to the fine smoke above, I enjoyed a delightful Serie-G Figurado on Christmas Eve. I had forgotten what a great smoke this was, a bit more mellow than the V and it was only $6 retail. It's the second pic.
