The tender has the following indicator light positions

Red flashing = no connection or bad battery

RED SOLID only ....battery less than 80% & charging

RED SOLID & green flashing ......battery is charging & at or over 80%

Red off & Green SOLID .....FULL CHARGE.....then floats......

can be left on indefinely.
