Correct, what would be best to do is hook up the front left and front right normally. Go to the amp (there is a wiring diagram somewhere) and run new wire from the output of the rear speakers to the output of the rear speakers on the deck. If your kenwood is anything like mine this will still give you plenty of adjustment F and R.
