Is it possible that the yellow and yellow/brown wires you found are the yellow and yellow/violet wires called out in the instructions? If so, then you have found the wires, you just need to follow them back about 6" or so to find where they are joined and install your RCA plugs there. I identified in BOLD that part in the instructions you attached.

Thanks so much for the fast reply. But I am afrais I might have already done damage. I located the two sets of yellow combinations and snipped them where they were unraveling, leaving me four separate wires (the yellows) about four or five inches from the amp. I failed to trace the wires back away from the amp to where they join.
Imagine, I now have the four yellows (2 with stripes) cut about 3 or 4 inches from the amp. Since I blew it shall I twist the two wires together and place one RCA female on the end, thus creating two sets of yellows with RCA ends.
I am sorry I failed to follow the initial instructions correctly. Could you please bail me out of this delimma
