Yes, he would end up with 4 RCA's.... 2 Front, 2 Rear. RCA's from the output of the deck are Left and Right with positive and negative in each plug.

Okay, the above interchange between SK and RL has me a little confused. Like RL I thought the way he laid it out would give me separate control over the subs. But SK seems to suggest otherwise, Let me know something so I can give myself the maximum flexibility since I already have everything torn apart

If you were to take both yellow wires (solid for positive), as positive on your female RCA and both striped yellow's for negative on the same female RCA... (and do the same on blue) then you will have the same setup as stock but with preamp out instead of normal... Like it states in the other thread, "a little better than stock"..... If you take the layout I gave you earlier and seperate each pin/color then you could have front and rear control through the preamp outputs....

Look at the PDF I attached and read the first post I made.... It is super easy, just take a second to think about it.

I laid out how to get front and rear in my first post on this thread.
