Do you have any engine lights?mine never did but got a misfire while driving.I took my car to a Mercedes Indy shop and they did not find any faults,So I decided to tackle the ECM I got a used one on eBay,had it unlocked,the Indy shop had my car for 3 days and could not code it,they told me to take it to chrysler after I visited both dealerships they both would not do it so liability reasons.They told me I could buy it through them for 3400 and 200 programming fee I declined,I moved my car into the garage without the ECM and the fan started humming just like when the ECM was in the car,I found a mobile diagnostics guy that said he can do it but for about $450.
