If those coils are turning you are in serious trouble as your car will be doing a barrel roll. They do not move.
There are two slightly different alternators used on these cars, so the correct part has to be selected. The difference seems to lie in the plug that attaches to the back somehow.
The parts are Valeo and Bosch, according to this post the wiring can be altered to suit your car.
How do you know it's an alternator problem?
