I just had mine changed at 1K. Dealer suggested it at the time of purchase after the engine has been broken in. Not sure if that is accurate or was a means of linging his pocket. Anyway, it's done - $69 labor, $9 parts, plus tax. I provided the 8 qts oil.

I know the manual says 7K interval but it also said 6 qts oil.
